This all depends on the size and scope of the work to be performed. For smaller offices with anywhere from 1 to 40 cables and a small closet installation we can have a quote turned around within a day or two after we have walked the site with the client. Larger projects can range from 5 to 10 business days. We do our best to provide the most up to date pricing and sometimes that can take several days to acquire.
Depending on the size of the project it can take anywhere from 1 day to 1 month. Projects that are smaller in cable numbers will typically take less time than projects that have larger cable counts. For example, let's say your space will require a small cabinet and approximately 30 cables to be installed. This project should average around 5 days in total. Now let's say you have a large warehouse space that requires some creativity to put together and has a cable count of 200, this project will likely take closer to a month to complete. It all depends on the project and its details. We do pride ourselves in managing our time wisely on projects so always remember, you are in good hands!
From start to finish, the process or as we call it "Steps of Service", breaks down like this...
1. Schedule the site review and complete a thorough exam of the project and its details in full
2. Bid Proposal is sent off to the client after current pricing is collected from our vendors
3. Client accepts the Bid Proposal with an approval signature using our platform and submits a 50% deposit for materials to be collected and shipped to Spider Tech (if needed. Often, we are able to use local vendors but occasionally we do have to wait for materials to arrive from out of state)
4. Materials arrive, and we start the installation process.
5. Depending on project size and details, installation will proceed until completed.
6. Project Installation is completed, and the final Project Package is made and sent to you (the Client). A digital copy will be emailed to you and physical print out will be brought to the site after lamination is complete. Now you have a nice clean copy of the data map for your IT Closet or Server Room!
7. Final waivers and reviews of the project are discussed, final payment submitted, and Warranty letter is written.
8. Project Completed
